Events at the Abbey
We are very happy to host your special day. Our abbey is located in the Victorian downtown of Maysville, Georgia and our Abbot's gardens provide a picturesque setting for your time of joy. Our Abbot's informal gardens are a very easy place to hold your event. We can even provide simple decorations that will compliment any theme.
Rental of our Abbot's gardens for weddings, rehearsals, receptions and other wedding related parties costs $650 (not including Minister's Fees) for the first four hours of use. We find that most weddings, setup and cleanup can easily take place in this time. Additional time can be reserved for $100/hour.
We do ask for a fully refundable $200 security deposit to cover any event overruns or issues.
We can direct you to local Chair Rental, Portable-Facilities, Catering, Photography, and Audio Services. Contracts and fees for those professional services are the responsibility of the Bridal Party.
Due to insurance (and zoning) regulations no alcohol is allowed to be served upon our grounds.

- 50% non-refundable calendar deposit is requested 30 days prior to your event date to secure your date.
- A $200 refundable Security deposit is requested to cover any event overruns or problems.
- Payment in full requested at time of event.
- Cash, Cheque or Money Orders Accepted.
- $45 fee on returned cheques.
- Rental of the Grounds does not include Minister's fees.
- Chair Rentals, Portable-Facilities, Catering, Photography, Audio Services, Wedding License Fees, etc are the responsibility of the Bridal Party.
